MANITOBA – Toronto-based Satori Resources is drilling some high grade mineralization at the site of the former Tartan Lake gold mine 40 km from Flin Flon. Best of all, the grades are from material near existing underground development and historical stopes. Here are some notable holes:
  • TL16-01 in the Main zone: 10.88 g/t Au over 13.1 metres and 9.9 g/t over 11.2 metres;
  • TL16-04 in the South zone: 10.28 g/t over 5.1 metres; and
  • TL16-06 in the Main zone: 3.56 g/t over 8.2 metres.
Will Ansley, president and CEO of Satori, said, "These drill results demonstrate both the high grade nature of the deposit as well as the exploration potential of Tartan Lake. The two zones intersected in hole TL16-01 appear wider than the original stopes mined between 1987 and 1989, and are located approximately 20 metres below existing underground development." Details of the Tartan Lake project are posted at www.SatoriResources.ca.
