GOLD-SILVER: Strategic Metals finds 462 g/t at Hartless Joe property

YUKON – Vancouver-based Strategic Metals has been taking chip samples from its Hartless Joe gold property  with bonanza results – the best of which was 462 g/t Au and 79.6 g/t Ag over 0.40 metres from the Queen showing. Other showings are giving up high grades, too: 44.3 g/t Au and 375 g/t Au over 2.10 metres as well as 22.7 g/t Au and 195 g/t Au over 0.50 metres from the King showing. Samples from the Ace showing assayed 16.9 g/t Au and 1,420 g/t Au over 0.10 metre. The Hartless Joe property covers epithermal mineralization located 28 km east-northeast of Whitehorse. The Ace showing was discovered in the 1960s. Strategic discovered the King showing in 2015 and the Queen showing this year. Diamond drilling is scheduled to begin in early August, said the company.
