GOLD: TerraX discovers new vein at Yellowknife City project

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES – Vancouver-based TerraX Minerals reports the discovery of a new gold vein – the VSB vein – at its Yellowknife City gold project immediately north of the town of the same name. The vein has been exposed over its entire 15-metre length and exhibits "abundant" visible gold, according to the company.

Grab samples from the VSB vein have assayed 547.0 g/t, 346.0 g/t, 75.8 g/t and 34.9 g/t Au. Of the 60 samples taken in an area 1.3 km long by 300 metres wide, 12 samples tested more than 5.0 g/t Au.

The 10-cm-wide VSB Vein is composed of white quartz and is trends northwest and dips 60° to the southwest. It does not appear to have been sampled during any previous exploration campaigns.
