BRITISH COLUMBIA – Vancouver-based WestKam Gold Corp. has completed permitting to take a 10,000-tonne bulk sample from its Bonaparte gold property 50 km northwest of Kamloops. Underground equipment and personnel are being mobilized to the site. Services including compressed air, water, electrical and ventilation are being installed. When the services are in place, the decline will be advanced towards the Grey Jay-Crow vein system. The ore will be custom milled. In 1994, an open cut bulk sample program was completed from surface on the Grey Jay-Crow vein system. A total of 3,700 tonnes of mineralized quartz vein material was processed in Trail, BC. yielding 3,160 oz of gold. The ore graded 26.5 g/t Au. In 2010 a second bulk sample shipment from the Grey Jay-Crow vein system was trucked to Washington state for processing. A total of 330 tonnes of mineralized material averaging 0.475 oz/ton Au were processed to yield  161.95 oz of gold at a recovery rate of 93.51%. Technical reports, photos and more information about the Bonaparte project are available at www.WestKamGold.com.
