BRITISH COLUMBIA – WestKam Gold Corp. has applied to the B.C. Ministry of Energy and Mines to take a 10,000-tonne bulk sample from the Bonaparte project 35 km north of Kamloops. The company plans to extend the existing decline to intersect the Crow and Grey Jay veins in the Discovery zone. WestKam intends to investigate the metallurgical properties of the ore and the structural environment of the Discovery zone. During drilling this year, the company discovered a new vein, the first outside the Discovery zone. The new vein assayed 7.88 g/t Au, 38.4 g/t Ag, 0.33% Cu and 28.6 g/t Te over 1.0 metres. The vein is within an anomalous IP resistivity, chargeability and Au-Cu geochemical trend which extends 1.2 km to the south-southeast and is open both northward and southward. Visit WestKamGold.com for additional information, maps, photos and technical reports from the Bonaparte project.
