MINING PEOPLE: American Lithium, Cornerstone, Encanto Potash, Endeavour Silver, and Maritime Resources

American Lithium of Vancouver has asked Karl Kottmeier to assume the role of president and CEO. Michael Kobler will transition to executive chair and COO while retaining his duties as president. Douglas Ford will become CFO. Colin McKenzie is the new chairman of Ottawa-based Cornerstone Capital. Two former directors, John Fleming and Don Worth, have moved to the company’s advisory board. At Vancouver-based Encanto Potash Corp. the new CEO is Norman Brewster, and new First Nations special counsel is Chief Reg Bellerose. Endeavour Silver president and COO Godfrey Walton assumes the additional duties as VP operation and country manager until a new VP and manager can be appointed. The company is headquartered in Vancouver and operates three precious metals mines in Mexico. The new COO of Maritime Resources Corp. in Vancouver is Andrew Pooler. His chief responsibility will be to oversee the prefeasibility study and eventual development of the Hammerdown project near Springdale, NL.
