Central Resources of Vancouver has named Paul Reynolds president, CEO and a director to replace Tim McNulty who has stepped down from the executive positions but remains on the board.

 

Philip Renaud is the new chairman of Montreal-based Dia Bras Exploration. Former chairman Thomas L. Robyn is appointed head of exploration. The company has also appointed Karl Boltz its VP corporate development; he was the co-founder of Exmin Resources in 2004 until its acquisition of Dia Bras in September 2009.

 

The new president of Vancouver-based Inca Pacific Resources is Andre Gauthier. He succeeds Michael Winn, who will retain his responsibilities as CEO. A former Cambior executive, Gauthier was a founding member and VP of the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce.

 

Latin American Minerals of Toronto has announced that Richard Boulay has joined its board. He is a Director of San Gold and also serves as a director and CEO of StrikePoint Gold.

 

Tony George will take up the duties of VP development at Vancouver's Lucara Diamond Corp. on Jan. 4, 2010. His résumé includes diamond mining in South Africa and Namibia, iron ore mining in Quebec and Labrador, consulting, and most recently he has been the COO of Aura Minerals.

 

Vancouver-based Riverside Resources has named Andrew Daniels its VP exploration. After a career with WMC, Anglo American, Minorco and Kilborn SNC-Lavalin, he has successfully run his own consulting business for the past eight years.

 

Silver Wheaton of Vancouver has appointed George L. Brack to its board of directors. He as most recently managing director and industry head of the mining group at Scotia Capital.
