MINING PEOPLE IN THE NEWS: Keegan Resources, Lincoln Mining and Valley High Ventures

Maurice Tagami is the new president and CEO of Vancouver-based Keegan Resources. He replaces Dr. Dan McCoy who has resigned those positions but will remain with the company as a director and chief geologist.

Lincoln Mining of Vancouver has named Mike Attaway its COO and VP operations. He is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience and holder of an MBA. He has worked on the startups of Quadra's Sierra Gorda project and Viceroy Resource's Castle Mountain mine.

Vancouver-based Valley High Ventures has appointed David Tupper to the role of VP exploration. In his 25-year career he has explored in western Canada, Mexico, South America and Asia. His expertise includes environmental consulting.
