QUEBEC – Commerce Resources Corp. of Vancouver says drilling has expanded the Middle and Heavy Rare Earth Oxide zone at its 100% owned Ashram deposit in northern Quebec. The potential pit extension was confirmed by two holes. Hole EC14-103 returned 42.39 metres with 1.60% TREO at 11.6% MH/T (MREO + HREO divided by TREO expressed as a per cent). A second hole, EC14-100 returned 48.87 metres of 1.47% TREO at 12.0% MH/T.
Other holes returned additional high grades including 2.13 TREO over 172.66 metres including 2.32% over 99.66 metres; 2.01% TREO over 81.00 metres; and 1.97% TREO over 162.47 metres including 2.25% over 56.32 metres.
Commerce said hole EC14-099 bottomed unexpectedly in strong MH/T mineralization at a depth of 192.02 metres, suggesting that the MHREO mineralization is more extensive than originally thought. Hole EC14-099 hi 32.48 metres of 1.41% TREO at 12.6 MH/T. Such results may be used to increase the resource base.
Results of the preliminary economic assessment of the Ashram project are posted at CommerceResources.com.
