SASKATCHEWAN – Denison Mines Corp. of Toronto has completed its summer drilling programs at three projects in the Athabasca Basin, and reports that the Gryphon zone at Wheeler River has been extended.

The company completed 14,93 metres of drilling in 20 holes. Results from the first half of these holes was released earlier this summer, and from the remaining half come high grade assays – 15.8% U3O8 over 2.3 metres, 7.0% over 2.0 metres and 9.8% over 2.5 metres.

Denison said in a news release: "Mineralization at Gryphon is hosted in basement gneisses, ranging from 100 to 250 metres below the sub-Athabasca unconformity. The zone currently measures 350 metres long (along the plunge) by 60 metres wide (across the plunge) and consists of multiple stacked lenses with variable thicknesses that plunge to the northeast and remain open in both plunge directions."

More details of the summer drilling program are available at DenisonMines.com.
