ERIE, Pennsylvania – Eriez® is expanding its operations in the Canada, United States, China and India to address the growing global demand for Eriez products. “We are proud and excited to report that Eriez is not only growing at home, but also across the globe,” says Tim Shuttleworth, Eriez president and CEO.
Eriez Minerals Flotation Group (EMFG), headquartered in Vancouver, will be moving from its current location to a larger building nearby. “This brand new building is being custom built to suit EMFG’s needs,” said Mike Mankosa, Eriez’ VP operations. “Our new facility will allow us to build our larger proprietary equipment in-house, rather than utilizing sub-contractors.” EMFG equipment offerings include flotation columns for minerals and liquids, StackCell® high efficiency mechanical flotation cells, Hydrofloat® coarse particle flotation cells, gas injection systems and mineral processing test equipment. Construction of the new building is underway, and it should be operational in early 2012.
In the United States Eriez has bought a building near its world headquarters to house its 5-Star ServiceTM Centre. Recycling systems, column flotation cells and Hydroflow® fluid filtration and recycling equipment will also be manufactured there.
Eriez-China is adding another manufacturing operation in Tianjin to supplement the Qinhuangdao plant. It should be complete later this month, August 2011.
Eriez-India is moving to a new factory in the Chennai industrial estate. In addition to manufacturing facilities, the new building includes a laboratory that will handle both dry and wet sample testing for its customers.
