NEW BRUNSWICK – This year's best junior mining company in New Brunswick is Puma Exploration of Rimouski, QC. The award was bestowed by the New Brunswick Prospectors and Developers Association for Puma's $10-million spending on exploration and acquisition in the province since 2006. The award was made during the recent NB Energy and Mines conference in Fredericton.

Puma is currently drilling the Turgeon volcanic massive sulphide copper-zinc project. The company also hopes to locate the prospective Nepisiguit Falls stratigraphic unit and additional massive sulphides at Brunswick North.

Marcel Robillard, CEO of Puma said, "We love working in New Brunswick due to its very prospective mineral potential, its incomparable infrastructure and especially because of the incredible support we receive from the provincial government including financial incentives. We especially appreciate the professional and rapid work permit response service which allows us to explore faster and more efficiently that in any other jurisdiction."
