SASKATOON – Norseman Structures is the 2012 recipient of the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) Exporter of the Year Award.
Sponsored by Export Development Canada, the STEP Exporter of the Year Award recognizes excellence in the company’s achievements and their success in tackling export markets. The award was presented to Norseman Structures on Sept. 26, 2012, at the STEP trade conference held in Saskatoon.
Darcy McLean, VP of client services and construction, attended the gala to accept the award on behalf of Norseman. “It was an honour to accept this award and be recognized amongst top Saskatchewan and international businesses,” he said. “The award provides great acknowledgment for the hard work and dedication of our employees to be ‘fiercely reliable’ in all that they do!”
The finalists for the award were selected for their “high level of performance in introducing new products and services into world markets, significantly increasing their export sales, achieving a high ratio of export sales to total sales, and an ability to create a positive impact on the provincial economy through job creation”.
