AWARDS: Two Xstrata Nickel execs win businesswomen of year honours

TORONTO – Xstrata Nickel is the proud employer of not one but two women recognized nationally for their business acumen.

Dominique Dionne, VP corporate affairs, received the RBC Champions Award in the 2012 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 program. 

Sepanta Dorri, general manager business development, was named to the 2012 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 program in the Trailblazers and Trendsetters category.

The honors were presented at the 10^th annual ceremony organized by the Women's Executive Network (WXN). It recognizes female business leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Other mining executives recognized in the WXN program for 2012 included Leslie O'Donoghue, executive VP operations for Agrium, and Zoe Yujnovich, president and CEO of the Iron Ore Company of Canada.
