ONTARIO – KWG Resources of Toronto has been service notice that Noront Resources (also of Toronto) will appeal the recent Ontario mining recorder's decision regarding the two companies' ownership of a pair of 16-unit claims. The ruling gave the disputed claims to KWG.
The claims in question are located in the McFauld's Lake area of Ontario's Ring of Fire.
The disputed claims are contiguous to KWG's Koper Lake claims where the company is assessing the potential of the Black Horse chromite deposit. KWG can earn 80% of the Black Horse deposit by conducting work under the terms of an option agreement with Bold Ventures and Fancamp Exploration.
Particulars of the Koper Lake project are available at KWGResources.com.
