ENVIRONMENT: New MEND website launched

OTTAWA - While we are on the topic of acid drainage, be advised that MEND, the Mine Environmental Neutral Drainage program, has launched a revamped website.

The new site is informative and easy to read with colourful links to the 9^th ICARD meeting, NOAMI, upcoming events, the GARD Guide, and related information. Various reports (either as summaries or complete PDF files) are available on topics such as prediction, prevention and control, treatment, monitoring, case studies, workshops and more. Past issues of the MEND Monitor are also archived as PDF files.
