CyPlus will represent 6th Wave in Mexico, Europe, Turkey and Egypt. IXOS resin provides a eco-friendly means of gold recovery. Each IXOS bead is imprinted at the molecular level to attract gold and ignore other elements leached from the ore. It also has the advantages of using fewer chemicals, reducing waste, and saving power than alternative technologies, according to 6th Wave. IXOS is supplied ready-to-use, with a range of particle sizes to accommodate heap leach solution and resin-in-leach/pulp circuits. 6th Wave has a pilot plant in operations at a major U.S. gold miner. It says IXOS has consistently outperformed activated carbon and conventional ion exchanges resins in both laboratory and field trials.
