BRITISH COLUMBIA – Results from the first two holes of the 2015 exploration project at the Kemess East target 430 km northwest of Prince George give owner AuRico Metals of Toronto reason to think the higher grade core mineralization extends beyond that which was identified over the past two years.

Hole KH-15-01 returned 0.625 g/t Au and 0.433% Cu over 305 metres, and hole KH-15-02 returned 0.466 g/t Au and 0.394% Cu over 301 metres. Follow this link, Drill intercepts in the Kemess East deposit, for details of the drill results.

The Kemess East zone is only 1.0 km east of the Kemess underground deposit and 6.5 km north of the 50,000-t/d mill that treated ore from the former Kemess South pit from 1998 to 2011. Production during that time included 3.0 million oz of gold and 749 million lb of copper.
