BRITISH COLUMBIA – Discovery Ventures of Vancouver has updated the historical resources to 43-101-compliant for the optioned Willa gold-copper property in the Slocan Mining Division near Silverton. The new estimate was completed by Micon International and Ash & Associates Consulting.

Using a cut-off of 3.5 g/t Au, the Willa deposit has 495,784 tonnes at 7.18 g/t Au, 0.94% Cu, and 12.16 g/t Ag in the measured category. The indicated resource is 262,415 tonnes at 5.71 g/t Au, 0.67% Cu, and 13.26 g/t Ag. There are also 73,591 inferred tonnes at 3.39 g/t Au, 0.29% Cu, and 5.42 g/t Ag.

The Willa property has been the subject of several exploration programs since its discovery in 1893. Earlier resource estimates were made in 2003 and 2005, but the property has been inactive for the last eight years. Bench scale metallurgical tests conducted at the time produced a concentrate grading 24% Cu from a head grade of 7.0 g/t Au and 0.9% Cu.

Discovery intends to re-open the portals and inspect the underground workings. Visit the website at DiscoveryVenturesInc.com.
