YUKON – Kaminak Gold Corp. of Vancouver continues to define new, good grade, shallow, oxidized gold zones at its Coffee gold project in the White Gold District. The discoveries were made close to the Supremo-Latte-Double Double deposits, where the bulk of the current inferred resources are located.

Here are the highlights:

  • A new oxide discovery at Supremo T1 assayed 3.18 g/t Au over 22.86 metres and 6.34 g/t over 4.57 metres. The T1 mineralized trend is one of eight Supremo soil trends that occur in a 2,000 x 2,000-metre area.
  • The  new oxide discovery at the Arabica zone assayed 3.8 g/t over 10.67 metres and 6.04 g/t over 4.57 metres. The gold-in-soil anomaly is semi-contiguous over a 1,200-metre north-south trend located 1.2 km east of Supremo T7.
  • High grade results from Latte North include 6.25 g/t Au over 10.67 metres and 6.56 g/t over 7.62 metres. This area is associated with a 600-metre-long gold-in-soil anomaly and a 1-km long structure interpreted to be a splay off the main Latte structure.

Kaminak is continuing a two-drill reverse circulation drill program at the Latte North and Supremo T2 zone. Diamond drilling is scheduled to begin in May.

The Coffee gold project has a 43-101-compliant inferred resource of 3.2 million oz. More information is available at Kaminak.com.
