SASKATCHEWAN – La Ronge Gold Corp. of Vancouver has tested two samples of mineralized drill core from the Preview SW deposit 45 km northeast of La Ronge, and gold recovery is promising. Up to 72% of the gold was recovered in the gravity circuit, and after making a flotation concentrate, total recovery was as high as 93%. The company plans to look into shipping the concentrate to a third party for additional treatment.

The samples tested were from two of the five zones of gold mineralization at the Preview SW deposit. From zone 102, the sample graded 3.43 g/t Au, 1 g/t Ag, 0.63% As, 3.6% Fe, 0.47% S and 0.02% SO4. From zone 104, the material graded 2.53 g/t Au, 1. g/t Ag, 0.17% As, 3.1% Fe, 0.33% S, and 0.01% SO4.

Approximately 45% of the gold in the zone 102 sample was observed as liberated or free gold, while approximately 30% of the gold occurrences in zone 104 were observed to be the same. A majority of the unliberated gold had strong associations with arsenopyrite, pyrite, and bismuth minerals, which will benefit gold recovery in a flotation process.

The Preview SW deposit has indicated resources of 1.96 million tonnes at 2.12 g/t Au (138,100 oz contained) and inferred resources of 3.71 million tonnes at 2.09 g/t Au (257,300 oz contained). Additional information is available at LaRongeGold.com.
