BRITISH COLUMBIA - International Bethlehem Mining is selling the former Goldstream mill, tailings pond and related leases and claims that it owns through a subsidiary to Barkerville Gold Mines of Vancouver. Barkerville intends to relocate the mill to the base of Cow Mountain near Wells.

The plant will be refurbished and upgraded to treat ores from the Barkerville's Bonanza Ledge and Cariboo projects. An additional ball mill and a carbon-in-pulp circuit will be added to the plant and capacity increased to 2,000 t/d. The mill was originally built by Noranda for its Goldstream mine that went into production in 1983 north of Revelstoke. It operated for about a year. Bethlehem Mining operated the mine between 1991 and 1995.

Barkerville has agreed to pay $3.3 million in cash and shares for Bethlehem Resources.
