YUKON – The maiden inferred resource estimate for the Coffee gold project 120 km south of Dawson City contains close to 3.24 million oz of gold. Owner Kaminak Gold Corp. of Vancouver used a cut-off of 0.5 g/t for oxide and transitional material and 1.0 g/t for sulphide material to come up with an inferred estimate of 64 million tonnes grading 1.56 g/t Au.

Kaminak has drilled near surface targets (to 200 metres) from 2010 to 2012. Consequently, the company says oxide and transitional mineralization accounts for 90% of the resource. Full details of the results will be available in a 43-101 technical report that is in the final stages of preparation.

Images of the block model at various cut-off grades from the Coffee project are available on the Kaminak website at Kaminak.com.
