BRITISH COLUMBIA – Pretium Resources of Vancouver says the access ramp has reached the Valley of the Kings zone at its Brucejack project 60 km north of Stewart. The ramp is now complete from the West zone portal, and the company is pressing forward with the development and infrastructure to take a 10,000-tonne bulk sample and conduct underground drilling.

The bulk sample will be excavated from the 1,345-metre level at the 426600 cross-section because it is judged to be an area representatives of the resource grade, stockwork mineralization, and so on. Excavation will begin in early June.

Pretium plans to complete 15,000 metres of underground drilling while the bulk sample is being taken.  After the initial cross-cut along section 426600, the north drill drift will be developed, and drilling will be conducted at 7.5-metre and 15-metre centres along 120 metres of strike length, and at 15-metre centres vertically for 60 metres above and 60 metres below the 1,345-metre level of the Valley of the Kings. Drilling will begin later this month.

The Valley of the Kings feasibility study is underway and expected before the end of June. The Pretium website is at Pretivm.com.
