KYRGYZ REPUBLIC - CENTERRA GOLD of Toronto has updated the reserves and resources numbers at its Kumtor mine, adding 2.3 million oz of gold before mining 614,000 oz in 2005. Almost all the additional ounces were drilled at the SB zone just south of the Kumtor open pit mine. Reserve grade has also increased to 3.8 g/t Au from 3.3 g/t. The company is assessing the capital required to develop these reserves.

The additional tonnage at the Kumtor mine will extend its life by another three years at a rate of over 600,000 oz/year. Proven and probable reserves total 40.16 million tonnes. Measured and indicated resources total 24.01 million tonnes at 3.9 g/t Au, and inferred resources are 5.48 million tonnes at 4.6 g/t Au.

Complete reserve and resource figures for all Centerra properties are available in the press releases at www.CenterraGold.com.
