GOLD: SLAM receives bulk mining permit for Maisie vein

NEW BRUNSWICK – SLAM Exploration of Miramichi has received permission from the province to take a 2,000-tonne bulk sample from the Maisie gold vein at its Menneval property near the town of the same name.

Plans are to use an excavator to remove the sample from the surface. No drilling or blasting is needed. The material will be crushed and gold recovered in a gravity circuit without the use of chemicals.
