ONTARIO – Surface drilling on the northwest part of the Upper Hallnor portion of the Whitney gold property near Timmins has returned 60.40 g/t Au over 0.5 metres. Partners Temex Resources (60%) and Goldcorp (40%), both headquartered in Toronto, will use the results of recent drilling to update the 43-101 report for Upper Hallnor.

The bonanza grade was encountered in the Upper Hallnor northwest volcanic horizon in hole TW12-238 that assayed 7.33 g/t Au over 5.75 metres including the aforementioned intersection and a second intersection of 27.50 g /t Au over 0.35 metres. At the Bonetal mine area hole TW12-242 encountered a notable 4.3 g/t Au over 3.00 metres including 16.18 g/t Au over 0.70 metres.

Temex says the 2013 drill program will continue to define near surface, high grade targets that may be suitable for early start-up production as well as upgrade inferred resources into the indicated category. The Whitney property has 2.96 million measured tonnes at 2.44 g/t Au, 8.66 million indicated tonnes at 1.95 g/t Au, and 4.02 million inferred tonnes at 1.79 g/t Au. A 0.30-g/t cut-off was used in these calculations.
