METALLURGICAL TESTS: Gold recovery from Blackwater gold samples tops 90%

BRITISH COLUMBIA - Richfield Ventures of Quesnel, BC, is pleased that gold recovery rates are above 90% in metallurgical tests of samples from its Blackwater project. The property is located 100 km south of Vanderhoof on the Nechako Plateau.

Composite samples from three drill holes were tested by Inspectorate Exploration and Mining Services in Richmond, BC. In direct whole ore cyanidation tests, gold recovery averaged 92% and 47% of the silver was recovered. Flotation testing to produce a bulk sulphide concentrate using three different grinding and reagent regimes produced metals recovery up to 94% to the concentrate. Gravity concentration tests recovered 51% of the gold in the ore.
