MINING PEOPLE: Angkor Gold, Novo Resources, and Vior Mining

Angkor Gold Corp., headquartered in Sexsmith, Alta., has named Dennis Ouellette as VP exploration. He joined the company earlier this year as senior geologist and became manager of exploration in April. Eric Sprott has joined the board of Novo Resources Corp. in Vancouver. He is also chairman of the Kirkland Lake Gold board. Quebec City-based Vior Mining and Exploration has selected Mark Fedosiewich as its new president and CEO. He is a veteran of the investment industry, most recently as first VP at CIBC Wood Gundy.
