MINING PEOPLE: Bacanora and Desert Star

Bacanora Minerals of Calgary has named Peter Secker its new CEO. He holds a bachelor of applied science in mining engineering from Newcastle University and a first class mine managers certificate for Australia and South Africa.

R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus has been appointed to the advisory board of Desert Star Resources in Vancouver. He is presently chairman of Nevsun Resources and a director of Wildcat Silver Corp.
