MINING PEOPLE: Broadway Gold, Dundee, Filo Mining, K2 Gold, and Matamec

Vancouver-based Broadway Gold Mining has hired senior geologist Philip Mulholland to oversee this fall’s drilling and exploration program. The company hopes to advance its Madison copper-gold project near Butte, Mont. Dundee Precious Metals of Toronto has elected Jonathan Goodman as chair of the board. He had been executive chair since he stepped down as president and CEO. Adam Lundin is the new president and CEO of Filo Mining Corp. in Vancouver. Former Filo president Wojtek Wodzicki has stepped down in order to concentrate on his role as president and CEO of NGEx Resources. K2 Gold Corp. in Vancouver  has named Jo Price its new VP of exploration. She recently completed her MBA thesis that analyzed the relationship between First Nations and the mining industry. Andre Gauthier has stepped down from the duties of president and CEO at Matamec Explorations in Montreal, but will remain on the board. In the interim, Francois Biron will act as president and CEO.
