Claude Resources of Saskatoon has named Brian Booth, current lead director, as chair of the board. He began his career as a geologist on the Casa Berardi gold discoveries in Quebec. Booth was also president and CEO of Lake Shore Gold. The current chair, Mike Sylvestre, will step down at the end of the year.

Brian Morris is now VP exploration and geology services at Klondex Mines of Vancouver. Beginning in January, he will head all related work at the company's projects in Nevada.

Lake Shore Gold of Toronto has invited Ingrid J. Hibbard to join its board of directors, effective immediately. She is currently president and CEO of Pelangio Exploration. Hibbard holds a BA degree and LLB from the University of Western Ontario.

Vancouver's North American Nickel has appointed Keith Morrison as CEO. He is co-founder of two successful Canadian enterprises, Quantec and QGX.

SouthGobi Resources of Hong Kong says that president and CEO Ross Tromans has stepped down and Enkh-Amgalan Sengee has been named to the posts. Sengee has been president and executive director of SouthGobi Sands, a wholly owned subsidiary, since July 2013.
