MINING PEOPLE: Eastplats and Wesdome

The new CEO at Vancouver’s Eastern Platinum is Diana Hu. Toronto-based Wesdome Gold Mines has named Duncan Middlemiss as its new president and CEO, effective Aug. 15, 2016. Rolly Uloth has stepped down from both positions but will remain on the board of directors. Middlemiss was president and CEO of St Andrew Goldfields until its acquisition by Kirkland Lake Gold. He is a mine engineering graduate of Queen’s University.
