Jim Cowley is the new president and Dave DeBiasio joins the board of directors at Arianne Resources of Saguenay, QC. Cowley is metallurgical engineer, with an MBA in finance who has served on the Board of the company since January 2011. He is tasked with finding both customers and development partners for the proposed Lac a Paul open pit phosphate mine in Quebec. DeBiasio, a metallurgical engineer at Agrium, has been active in the operation of Canada's only phosphate mine in Kapuskasing, ON.
Fortune Minerals of London, ON, has made two recent appointments at its head office. Michael De Carlo has joined the company as project manager. Keith Lee has also joined the company as senior process engineer.
The new COO of Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, ON, is Paul Andre Huet. He will lead the advancement of the company's key properties in Ontario and Nevada. Huet is a graduate of the Stanford School of Business as well as the Haileybury School of Mines.
Themac Resources Group of Vancouver has named Andre Douchane its CEO. He is replacing Barrett Sleeman who is retiring but will remain as an executive director until the annual general meeting in December.
Gabriel Bastias is the new VP exploration, Elpidio Reis the COO and Hugo Bastias executive VP at U3O8 Corp. of Toronto. The three men have extensive experience in Latin America.
