Century Mining of Blaine, WA, has announced the resignation of founder, chairman, president and CEO Margaret "Peggy" Kent. She will remain a consultant to the company for 12 months. Keith Hulley will take over the responsibilities as interim president and CEO.

Toronto-based Match Capital has named Elizabeth J. Kirkwood as president and CEO of the company. She is also a Match director.

Nelson W. Baker has accepted the role of president and CEO at Mineral Mountain Resources of Vancouver. Recently, he discovered the Rainy River gold deposit and brought it to the company of the same name, serving as its president and CEO until June 2009. A graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines and the South Dakota School of Mines, Baker has over 40 years experience in the exploration industry.

Yankee Hat Minerals of Vancouver has tapped David Matousek as president. He holds a BBA in finance from Simon Fraser University.
