MINING PEOPLE: PotashCorp and Red Pine Exploration

Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, headquartered in Saskatoon, has added Aaron W. Regent to its board of directors. He was previously the president and CEO of Barrick Gold, and he sits on the board of the Bank of Nova Scotia. His also a former board member of the World Gold Council, president and CEO of Falconbridge, and chairman of the Nickel Institute.

Toronto-based Red Pine Exploration has appointed Mackenzie (Mac) Watson, Dr. James Franklin, and Jean-Philippe Desrochers to its new technical advisory committee. They will aid the company in advancing the Wawa gold project in northern Ontario.
