NET NIT – Oyu Tolgoi truly tremendous

CMJ has been taken to task for vastly underrating the resources in Invanhoe's Oyu Tolgoi copper-gold project in Mongolia. Ian Bandklayder, an Ivanhoe investor, writes from Florida State University: "Those numbers are way off. There are 72 billion lb of copper in all categories, and about 30 million oz of gold. [Your] article does not do justice to the world's largest reserve of copper ever found on this planet. At today's prices, the in-ground value is nearly US$300 billion."
