WESTERN AUSTRALIA - Vancouver-headquartered BRILLIANT MINING has pulled intersections of 30.5 m at 4.5% Ni and 32.85 m at 3.88% Ni from the recently discovered Deacon zone at its Lanfranchi mine in the Kambalda Nickel District. The company says two massive sulphide intersections in the zone cut 10.4% Ni over 3.6 m and 9.68% Ni over 5.1 m.

The Deacon zone lies just to the west of the Helmut South orebody and carries similar mineralization. An underground, preliminary resources definition drill program is underway. The zone is open at depth.

Brilliant (www.BrilliantMining.com) has a 25% interest in the Lafranchi nickel mine. The remaining interest in the mine is held by SALLY MALAY MINING (www.SallyMalay.com) of Australia.
