ONTARIO - The latest 43-101 report made to Canadian Arrow Mines of Sudbury, ON, on its Timmins nickel projects includes 5.8 million lb of contained nickel in the indicated category. The property also contains copper, cobalt, gold and PGM mineralization.

Numbers for indicated resources were released for both open pit and underground deposits. The total of both the Alexo and Kelex open pits is 149,000 tonnes grading 1.13% Ni, 0.05% Cu, 0.04% Co, 0.01 g/t Au, 0.05 g/t Pt and 0.10 g/t Pd. The Alexo and Kelex underground deposits contain 243,000 tonnes grading 1.08% Ni, 0.04% Cu, 0.04% Co, 0.01 g/t Au, 0.04 g/t Pt and 0.08 g/t Pd. The property also has 54,000 tonnes of inferred resources in the Kelex underground.

Canadian Arrow president Kim Tyler said the company may accelerate plans to restart production at the Timmins nickel project. Historically, the project produced 87,000 tonnes of ore grading 3.06% Ni.
