SOFTWARE: First Quantum choses Centric KPI solution from NCS

SUDBURY, ONTARIO – NCS Technology Inc. increased its market share in Africa with the recent sale of its Centric software to First Quantum Minerals’ Sentinel copper project in Zambia.

Centric will integrate fleet management systems, historical data and manual processes into a single source, providing an effective platform for monitoring key performance indicators (KPI).

Sentinel is the second mining operation owned by First Quantum to implement Centric for the purposes of ore tracking, reconciliation and operational KPI reporting. Centric was commissioned in early 2013 at First Quantum’ Kevitsa mine in northern Finland, to provide a complete picture of the mining value chain and its related activities through real time dashboards and operational reporting.
