SASKATCHEWAN – There's no slowing the flow of good news from the Patterson Lake South property in the Athabasca Basin. Fission Uranium of Kelowna, BC, said all 13 holes drilled in the R780E zone returned strong mineralization at shallow depth.

The "wow" assay from the program was 24.87% U3O8 over 7.5 metres within an 8.53-metre interval that averaged 8.53% U3O8. This assay came from hole PLS14-271 that intersected 85.5 metres of total composite mineralization greater than 0.05% over a 146.0-metres section beginning 57.5 metres below surace.

Fission said moderate to high grades in most of the holes allowed it to extend the R780E zone laterally a further 93 metres to the north and 38 metres to the south.

More assays from the summer program are pending. Please see FissionUranium.com for additonal information.
