SASKATCHEWAN – Fission Uranium Corp. of Kelowna, BC, continues its successful drilling program at the Patterson Lake South property in the Athabasca Basin and reports the final 18 holes drilled on the R780E zone. All the holes encountered strong mineralization at shallow depth, with 14 of them returning substantial high grade intervals, the company said.

The best hole, PLS14-290 on line 735E, returned several intervals including 32.53% U3O8 over 6.5 metres within a longer interval of 3.72% U3O8 over 64.5 metres.

Fission has now defined the R780E zone by drilling over a continuous strike length of approximately 900 metres, and there are weakly mineralized zones to the west for an additional 30 metres.

The maiden resource estimate for PLS will be released in early 2015.

Please see FissionUranium.com for additional drill results from the recent program.
