FE Battery Metals (CSE: FE; OTC: FEMFF) is drilling its flagship Augustus lithium property in Landrienne and Lacorne townships, Quebec. Hole LC23-50 intersected multiple sections of mineralization, including 1.19% lithium oxide (Li2O) over 17.45 metres at a depth of about 80 metres.

The hole cut eights lithium pegmatites: 0.041% Li2O over 1.77 metres; 0.35% Li2O over 2.0 metres; 0.20% Li2O over 4.4 metres; 1.19% Li2O over 17.45 metres; 1.10% Li2O over 10 metres; 1.42% Li2O over 2.0 metres; 0.05% Li2O over 4.0 metres; and 0.68% Li2O over 8.5 metres. All pegmatites have anomalous values of other rare metals (cesium, chromium, rubidium).

Hole LC230-50 tested the eastward extension of hole LC21-16 which previously returned 1.17% Li2O over 19 metres at about 120 metres.

FE Battery owns 100% of the Augustus property, which covers 27,000 hectares. The first two phases of drilling have been completed. Follow-up drilling and 3D modeling of the lithium-bearing rock units are planned. Metallurgical tests will also be conducted.
