MONTREAL – Mira Geoscience has earned the Outstanding Achievement in Commercialization award presented by the Ultra-Deep Mining Network (UDMN) of Sudbury, Ont. The award recognizes a technical innovation and commercial sale that is quickly becoming the industry’s reputedly most comprehensive and advanced real-time geotechnical data management and hazard reporting system. And it is automated from import to report. Mira’s Geoscience Integrator software is what UDMN calls a true 4-D multi-disciplinary geoscience data management solution. The software combines visualization, modeling, query and expert system applications. It tackles primary data that is a function of time and the time evolution of both data and models. The web interface controls data import, ad hock and standard report generation, and report scheduling. UDMN managing director Bora Ugurgel noted the success of Integrator: “This market ready technology successfully closed commercial sales between $500 and $1 million in 2017. With R&D case studies in progress at Glencore’s Nickel Rim South; commercial deployment at JSC Apatit’s three underground phosphate mines in Russia for rockburst hazard assessment; commercial agreements for mid-2018 deployment for another Canadian mining company and additional pilot projects at two major Australian mining groups, Mira Geoscience is a Canadian mining innovation success story and UDMN is proud of this collaboration.” Find out more about Geoscience Integrator at www.MiraGeoscience.com/our-products/software-product/geoscience-integrator.
