COPPER-GOLD DEVELOPMENT: Thompson Creek to finance $132-M fleet for Mt. Milligan

BRITISH COLUMBIA - Cat Financial has agreed to finance Denver-based Thompson Creek Metals' $132-million purchase of open pit mining equipment for the Mt. Milligan copper-gold mine 155 km northwest of Prince George. Drawdowns against the finance facility will occur as the equipment is delivered throughout 2012.

The Canadian division of Finning International in Vancouver will be supplying the 42 individual units to Thompson Creek. They include Caterpillar 793F mining trucks and support equipment. Parts and specialized labour are also included. Finning is the world's largest Caterpillar equipment dealer.
