NEWFOUNDLAND - Cornerstone Capital Resources of Mount Pearl, NL, and joint venture partner Thundermin Resources of Toronto are pleased with the increased resource estimate for their Little Deer copper project 10 km north of Springdale. The latest numbers show a 66% increase in indicated and a 61% increase in inferred resources. The partners hope to further expand the deposit with additional drilling below and to the west of the current deposit outline.

The indicated mineral resource, exclusively in the Little Deer zone, stands at 1.9 million tonnes grading 2.37% Cu. The inferred resource, in the Little Deer and Footwall zones as well as the Footwall zone splay, total 3.7 million tonnes averaging 2.13% Cu. P&E Mining Consultants prepared the 43-101 report.
