ROMANIA - Gabriel Resources of Toronto has restarted the environmental impact assessment for its long-delayed Rosia Montana gold project. The company's efforts to reopen the former state-run mine and remediate many of its environmental problems has been stalled since 2007 when the Romanian environmental ministry pulled its permit.

A technical analysis committee consisting of experts appointed by various government departments will oversee the environmental impact assessment. The EIA will also be reviewed by experts from several other European countries.

Grabriel's presentation at the Denver Gold Forum on Sept. 21, 2010, is available at www.GabrielResources.com in the Investor section.
