[caption id="attachment_1003727101" align="alignleft" width="182"] Jaisen Kohmuench[/caption] PENNSYLVANIA – Jaisen Kohmuench of Eriez has been selected as the 2018 Frank F. Aplan Award winner. He is the company’s senior director of Asia-Pacific operations and strategy. Kohmuench was chosen for his contributions to applied research, engineering development, and commercial deployment of advanced flotation technologies. The Aplan award is sponsored by the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) and the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME). Retired, three-term Idaho governor Butch Otter is joining the board of Toronto-based First Cobalt Corp. The company will draw on his extensive knowledge of the state as it advances the Iron Creek cobalt project. Otter’s career as a business leader spanned more than 30 years, including 12 years as president of Simplot International.
