HydroGraph Clean Power has added Modern Dispersions (MDI), a thermoplastic compounder-and-concentrate supplier, to its compounding partner network, boosting the company’s ability to deliver graphene-enhanced materials in industrial markets across North America.
The company said the certification followed a rigorous technical and commercial qualification phase to ensure MDI’s ability to process carbon materials, including nanocarbons, into polymer systems with consistent performance and quality control.
“Achieving HydroGraph compounding partner certification reflects our continued commitment to advanced materials innovation,” said Jan Kozma, the vice-president of sales at MDI. “Our experience working with carbon nanomaterials and specialty concentrates positions us well to help customers integrate graphene into commercial polymer applications.”
Graphene‑infused polymer products blend tiny carbon sheets into plastics to boost strength, conductivity and durability. They are used in industrial components, protective coatings and liners used in industrial settings, including mines.
MDI currently works with industries across several markets, including agricultural film, food packaging, consumer electronics and textiles.
