YUKON – Alexco Resource Corp. of Vancouver has released new resource numbers showing a 10% over-all increase for its properties in the Keno Hill Silver District 330 km north of Whitehorse. Tonnage at the Flame and Moth deposit was up 17%, and at the Bermingham deposit it was up 37%.

The 43-101 report was prepared by SRK Consulting (Canada). At the Flame and Moth there are 1.64 million indicated tonnes grading 506 g/t Ag and 348,000 inferred tonnes grading 366 g/t Ag. At Bermingham there are 377,000 indicated tonnes that grade 430 g/t Ag, plus 52,000 inferred tonnes at 477 g/t Ag. Both deposits also contain recoverable amounts of gold, lead and zinc.
